In the fall of 2017, my adopted big brother and I started having quarterly brother/sister dinners. We use this time to encourage each other and update each other on life. He has become my go to when seeking support for the opposite sex and relational advice. During one of our chats, I had a revelation- ironically it wasn’t anything new but simply something that I started to use to reshift my mindset- “ Every problem is truly an opportunity”. As I reflected on my on my life, so many of my most trying and difficult moments were truly disguised as opportunities. Every failure. Every missed opportunity. Every single heartbreak. Every obstacle has served a unique purpose in my life to reshape me and make me so much stronger. In the midst of moments, I still cry sometimes and it’s difficult to remember that in the moment but when I begin to shift my mind - I usually start to get a renewed sense of peace.
I want to remind you that EVERY. SINGLE. PROBLEM. IS . TRULY. AN. OPPORTUNITY.
